Whatever your plans are, have a safe and happy holiday break. We look forward to welcoming our students back on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025! #WEareOC

OC Families,
We are excited to announce that Owen County Schools has partnered with the Drug Coalition to offer new Car Rider Tags for every family in our district PreK-8th grade this upcoming school year! The tags have already been pre-assigned to each household and will be passed out at our Open Houses on Monday, August 12th.
Each family will receive two car rider tags. We also ask that you keep them so households can reuse them each year. If you have students in multiple buildings, your tags will be available at the school of your youngest child.
Again, we are truly excited about this partnership with the Drug Coalition as we offer enhanced safety measures for both our students and their families. If you have any questions, please reach out to your child's school.

The time has finally come where we are able to officially hold a ribbon cutting and have a grand opening ceremony at our NEW TRANSPORTATION FACILITY! I know Mrs. Peace and our entire Transportation Department is proud of this facility and is excited to show it off to our staff and community. Our Grand Opening Ceremony will be held on Friday, April 12th from 3:30PM-6:30PM. We hope you will join us!
You're invited to participate in the Kentucky Blood Center Spring blood drive at OCHS, sponsored by HOSA, scheduled for Tuesday, March 26 from 9 am to 1:30 pm in the upper level of the OCHS gym. Every donation has the potential to save up to three lives, and with your support, Owen County Schools can truly make an impact. Not only does your donation help save lives, but it also benefits OCHS seniors by contributing to scholarships.
